The Amy Winehouse Band announces Back to Black 20th anniversary tour

The Amy Winehouse Band, Amy Winehouse’s original band, have announced a UK tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her defining album, Back to Black.

Released in 2006, Back to Black was the album that transformed Winehouse into a global cultural figure. The album culminated in a record-breaking five GRAMMY Award wins at the 2008 ceremony, for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist. Performing with her that evening, as they had since the very beginning of her career, was her band.

The Amy Winehouse Band continues to keep Winehouse’s legacy alive by bringing her catalogue to audiences around the world. Led by her long-time musical director and bass player, Dale Davis, the band features members who both toured and recorded with Winehouse throughout her career.

It’s still an honour, pleasure and privilege to be performing these songs, from this timeless classic Dale Davis, Winehouse’s long-time musical director and bass player

The 2026 anniversary tour will see the band perform Back to Black in full, alongside other Amy Winehouse classics across the UK. The first three months of the tour, beginning in October 2026, will culminate in a special homecoming date at London’s Roundhouse on 18 December - an essential stop in Camden, the heart of Amy’s story.

The tour will then continue in March 2027, with a run of Scottish dates in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dunfermline and Dumfries.

“I can’t believe that it’s the 20th anniversary of Back To Black this year,” said Davis, Winehouse’s long-time musical director and bass player. “When I congratulated Amy on the success of this incredible album, she said to me, not with any arrogance: ‘I knew what I was doing’, and at that moment, I realised that she knew exactly what she had created. It’s still an honour, pleasure and privilege to be performing these songs, from this timeless classic.”
