RCA Records launches London pop-up shop

RCA Records UK has unveiled a pop-up shop at Mare Street Market, Kings Cross. Presenting a physical space for artist and fan interaction, the shop will spotlight the label's legacy through vinyl, curated fan activations and artist merch.

Home to some of the most iconic artists of all time, Sony Music’s flagship label RCA Records UK will bring its artist stories to life with a nine-month residency at the Kings Cross hotspot.

Offering visitors the opportunity to explore decades of history through curated vinyl collections, the shop will feature records from its roster of talent including the likes of Beyoncé, Bring Me The Horizon, JADE, André 3000, Sade, KAYTRANADA, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Myles Smith and more.

“This space is more than a record shop, it’s a celebration of RCA’s past, present and future. At a time when fan connection is more important than ever and harder to win, we decided to create a physical hub that brings artists' stories to life in a fresh, meaningful way. Mare Street Market, right on the doorstep of Sony HQ, felt like the perfect home for this residency. From legacy defining catalogue artists, to breakthrough talent like JADE and Myles Smith and established acts like Bring Me The Horizon, this pop-up provides everyone with a chance to get closer to the music, the culture that embraces it, the artists shaping it as well and the fandoms that support and power them all,” said Glyn Aikins and Stacey Tang, co-presidents of RCA Records UK.

Damaris Rex-Taylor, MD of RCA Records UK, and Alex Bean, head of marketing added: “The record shop is an immersive hub where music, art, design, and culture collide. Through activations and bespoke experiences, the shop creates new ways for fans to connect with our artists. The RCA Shop is an experiential space that reflects the label’s spirit and energy: celebrating culture, sparking curiosity, and bringing people together.”

The pop-up officially launched on Wednesday 24th September with a homage to JADE, celebrating the release of her highly anticipated debut album That's Showbiz Baby. The space featured a curated display of JADE’s outfits, including her Glastonbury look and the Angel of my Dreams blue fur coat.

As part of the launch, contemporary artist Koby Martin has also designed a black-and-white mural for the shop, bringing his signature aesthetic to the space. Located within Mare Street Market Kings Cross, RCA is at the heart of a space that blends retail, restaurants, bars, food, and creativity, all under one roof.
