Linkin Park’s Numb breaks billion streams barrier on Spotify

Linkin Park have seen their hit single Numb surpass over one billion streams on Spotify.

The milestone represents the second track from the US nu metal icons to reach more than one billion streams, with their song In The End achieving the same feat in June of 2021.

Linkin Park’s ‘Collision Course’ version of Numb is also the band’s third most streamed track, having notched up just shy of 670 million streams to date. Their fourth most streamed track is What I’ve Done at 484 million streams, followed by One Step Closer at 361 million streams.

Meanwhile, last month saw Drake become the first rapper to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. He is also the first artist in history to register over two billion streams via one project (Certified Lover Boy).

In another first for 2022, fellow Canadian star Justin Bieber became the first artist to have 10 songs all hit more than one billion streams. Those songs are Sorry, Stay, Despacito, What Do You Mean?, Peaches, Love Yourself, Let Me Love You, I’m The One, I Don’t Care and Cold Water.
