Leona Lewis’s Christmas release One More Sleep has been officially crowned as the most streamed British Christmas hit of the 21st century.
Featured on her 2013 album Christmas with Love, One More Sleep hit the Number 3 spot on the UK Official Chart and 12 years on, the song has amassed 190 million UK streams according to Official Charts Company data.
Speaking to Headliner, Lewis said: "It's lovely that people enjoy it and that is part of a lot of people's Christmases now. As an artist, that's what you want: to be able to share music that helps people, heals people, that spreads love and that brings a bit of comfort.”
This milestone arrives as Lewis is nearly halfway through her highly anticipated 33-date Las Vegas holiday residency, A Starry Night, at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort.
Running until January 3rd, the Christmas show marks the powerhouse vocalist’s first-ever live shows in the United States, transforming Voltaire into a winter wonderland featuring Christmas classics and favourites from across Leona’s career.
